1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the mobile application “Democracy Now!” (hereinafter referred to as “the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“TOS”) and all terms incorporated by reference. If you do not agree to all of these terms, do not use the App.

  • License: Subject to these TOS, we grant you a non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the App on devices you own or control for your personal, non-commercial use.
  • Restrictions: You may not distribute or make the App available over a network where it could be used by multiple devices at the same time. You may not rent, lease, lend, sell, redistribute, or sublicense the App.

4. User Conduct

  • You agree not to use the App in any way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the App or interfere with any other party’s use and enjoyment of the App.
  • You shall not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any service, user accounts, computer systems or networks associated with the App through hacking, password mining, or any other means.

5. Intellectual Property

  • All content available through the App, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, button icons, images, audio clips, digital downloads, data compilations, and software, is the property of Democracy Now! or its content suppliers and protected by international copyright laws.

6. Changes to the Terms

  • We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days’ notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

  • We may terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the TOS.

  • The App is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, regarding the App, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

9. Limitation of Liability

  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event shall Democracy Now!, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.
